Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. Her most well-known role is her role as Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She performed the roles of Jean Ward and Martha Bullock and Martha Bullock, respectively, on The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in Preparatory before her Family moved to Ohio. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre and also spent time at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons in Chicago theatre before moving on to film and TV roles. Anna's first big part was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She appeared on 29 episodes. In addition, she appeared in Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Then it was only in the latter part of 1990 that she took on the role of The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood, which was filmed between 2000 and 2001. In 2008, she was cast as Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood were also the highlights of her career. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed film Sex With Strangers. She was also a part of the podcast audio drama of four episodes called Numbered Days, which was released in 2022. The relationship between Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the plot of Breaking Bad with the strained pull on their relationship and eventually its demise similar to the arc that was Walter White's last years of life.
